Chez Toyota, la Crown est une institution. La première du nom est sortie en 1955 et aujourd’hui, la 15ème génération reste la grande routière la plus populaire au Japon. Il s’agit ici de la 2ème version, vendue de 1962 à 1967 et qui marque une nette évolution esthétique par rapport à la première en étant à la fois nettement plus longue (4,64 m au lieu de 4,30 m), plus large et plus basse.

Here we have the first version of a small Toyota truck, launched in 1954. Afterwards, it was renamed Toyoace. On the van, the inscription in Japanese katakana syllabary (read "shoe-my") designates the Chinese dumplings that the company Kiyôken cooked. This name is repeated on the doors of the truck, written in Japanese kanjis. Above it, the word “kabushiki” means "limited company".

The 1:43 scale pick-up was already manufactured by Ebbro (you can find it on Minicarweb). Now here is the Toyoace van, with the authentic inscription: "lemon bread bakery France".
