Before becoming a separate model, this sports car was a simple derivative of the Celica Coupe. Toyota abandoned this name in 2002, until 2019 when it was reused with the two letters GR, which stand for Gazoo Racing. The new Supra is a collaboration between Toyota and BMW and is based on the Z4. It receives the same supercharged 4 and 6-cylinder engines and is produced in Austria.
