This was the Nova, renamed SuperNova in 2000 on the occasion of a facelift. She later became Solenza in 2003 after its last facelift, before Dacia definitely entered into a modern era in 2004 with the Logan.

Trabant 601 camper red/white (IST) 1:43

Symbol of the former East Germany, the Trabant remained available during a long time. But initially, its design was interesting: released in 1957, the car was updated in 1964, looking like a mini Peugeot 404. The composite bodywork of this front-wheel drive hides a two-stroke engine. Here we have a 1980 model year, equipped as a motorhome.

ARO 240 (IST Models) 1:43

Produced from 1972 to 2006, the 240 was the successor of a model based on a Soviet GAZ 4x4. ARO was a Romanian brand. Some units were sold in Europe. Just before its production was discontinued, ARO even thought about selling in the U.S. Here we have a 3-door 240 with a tarpaulin of the early years. The 240 borrowed its headlights from the Dacia 1300 (hence, the Renault 12) until 1977.

Trabant 1.1 pick-up closed (IST Models) 1:43

In 1984, Trabant, an East German brand, abandoned 2-stroke engines in favour of 4-strokes. The 1043 cc borrowed from the VW Polo was retained. Production waited until May 1990 to begin, when an updated Trabant (new front grille and bumpers) and this pick-up version were launched. But Germany was ready to reunify and the fate of the Trabant was sealed: production ceased in April 1991.

Moskvich 400 (Ist Models) 1:43

On December 4, 1946, the first Moskvitch 400 was released. It was a "true" copy of the 1937 Opel Kadett (same production chains), but with two more doors. Their manufacturing was awkward, as we can notice on the large hinges. In 1949, this model became the first Soviet car imported into Western Europe. Ist Models dates this 400 around 1954, but it was the year when it was renamed 401.

Primarily intended for farmers, this unusual pickup owes its name to an extinct race of wild horse. Its production began at the end of 1971 and it benefitted from some changes in the following years. Here we have a 1976 type 237 reproduced by Ist Models.
