Toyota abandoned this name in 2002, until 2019 when it was reused with the two letters GR, which stand for Gazoo Racing. The new Supra is a collaboration between Toyota and BMW and is based on the Z4. It receives the same supercharged 4 and 6-cylinder engines and is produced in Austria.
