In August 1979, Audi made a first inroad into the premium segment with the 200. It was simply a facelift of the Audi 100, with four headlights and specific bumpers. The 200 E borrowed the 2.1-liter 5-cylinder (136 hp) engine from the 100 E, but the front wheel-drive 200 5T added a turbo and increased to 170 hp. This was only the beginning... Chevrolet Styleline wagon 1952 (NEO) 1:43

At that time and until the mid-1970s, American models were modified every year. Here we have a Styleline Coupe Hardtop with a 1952 front grille. That year, Chevrolet’s production reached 1.2 million units, all versions combined (sedan, coupe, convertible and wagon). All equipped with 6-cylinder engines. In Station Wagon in red colour since June 2022.

The E34 generation of the M5, launched in 1988, was based on the 535i. Mid-1991, BMW replaced the 3.5 litre 6-cylinder (315 hp) with a 3.8-litre (340 hp). The latter is reproduced here by NEO. Note the specific wheel rims. In 1994, for the last year of its career, the E34 M5 was renamed M5 Evolution and received new specific rims, while keeping the same power. In green since June 2022.

The Sebring was the "small-size" Maserati car in the 1960s. Unveiled at the Turin Auto Show in 1962, this lovely coupe designed by Vignale was equipped with the smallest in-house 6-cylinder: a 3.5-litre (235 hp). Over the decade, Maserati enlarged the offer. In March 1966, a 3.7-litre (245 hp) and a 4-litre (255 hp) were added to the range. 591 units of the Sebring were produced until 1969.

As its name suggests, here we have a 1977 fifth-generation Continental, only available in coupe. The model represented over 40% of Lincoln’s sales at the time. The United States were still in the era of excess: this Lincoln was 5.85 meter/230 in.-long, and its engine was a 6.6-litre V8. But the power output was only 168 hp!

The 2nd-generation Camaro launched in 1970 remained 11 years in Chevrolet’s catalogue but was regularly updated. In 1974, thanks to its new bumpers and a redesigned front grille, its overall length reached 5 meters/197 inches. In 1978, a new facelift, reproduced here, showed more integrated bumpers. That same year, this two-tone and "T-roof" Rally Sport version was launched.

This famous Austrian all-terrain military and civilian vehicle, which owes its name to a breed of Austrian horse, was produced from 1971. Steyr-Daimler-Puch, which also assembles the Mercedes G-Class among other models, produced the Pinzgauer until 2000. Here we have the first series 4WD 710 . Another 6x6 version was also available, also reproduced by NEO.

It was an event at the end of 1980 : the third-generation Escort became a front-wheel drive. In 1984, Ford launched the RS Turbo version, equipped with a 1.6-litre supercharged engine (132 hp), at a time when Golf GTI developed 112 hp only. In 1986, the Escort was updated. The engine of the RS Turbo (reproduced here by NEO) remained unchanged. In black since July 2021.

NEO has become the specialist of 1:43 model cars reproducing European Fords of the 1960s! The round headlights of the 12M differ from the rectangle ones of the 15M. Besides, its 1.2 and 1.3-liter V4s engines are more modest. The 12M became a front wheel-drive in 1962, and was restyled in 1966. Then it was called P6 (until 1970), and it is the version that is reproduced here.

The first Taunus was released in 1952. Ford turned this rear-wheel drive into a front-wheel drive in 1962, and changed its mind again in 1970 with this generation. The range was topped by this GXL trim (coupe or sedan), with round headlights added to the original rectangle ones. Three engines to choose from: a 1.6 88 hp, a 2.0 V6 90 hp or a 2.3 V6 108 hp. Reproduced in oranbge since July 2021.

Launched in 1929, the Phantom II borrowed its 7.7-litre 6-cylinder from the Phantom I but was based on a new chassis, which inspired the most prestigious coachbuilders of the time. The English coachbuilder Gurney Nutting & Co Limited, established in 1918, designed this coupe Owen Sedanca. NEO launched this brown colour in July 2021.

In Europe, the 17M was marketed as the P7 from autumn 1967. And even "P7a" for two years, because the body was updated in 1969, becoming P7b. The 17M received either a 1.5-litre or a 1.7-litre V4. The 20M, renewed at the same time and equipped with a 2-litre V6, had a slightly different grille and no air intake on the bonnet. Reproduced in black since April 2021.

The Jaguar 420 launched in October 1966 was an updated 1963 S-Type (which was itself based on the 1955 Mark II). The 420 was very distinct from its predecessors with its more upright front grille, which deprived this large sedan from most of its chubby appearance. It also received a 4.2-litre six-cylinder engine (248 hp SAE) instead of 3.4- or 3.8-litre.

This sedan was unveiled in London in 1948 at the same time as the XK 120 roadster. The MK V was an evolution of pre-war Jaguars, equipped with a more modern engine, rear-wheel spats and nicely curved side glasses. The funniest thing is that there has never been any Jaguar called MK I to MK IV, and that its successor in 1950 was called MK VII! In grey and black since April 2021.

Launched in 1955, this core model of the Rolls-Royce range in the mid-1960s had three phases. The last one, released in 1963, is reproduced here with its twin headlights. The visual appeal of this drophead coupe version, designed by Mulliner Park Ward, earned it the nickname “Chinese eye”. It is logically close to the Bentley S3 Continental Mulliner Park Ward.

Launched in 1969, the XJ is undoubtedly one of the finest sedans in history. It was at least until 1986, when its headlights became rectangle. This 1979 Series III still has round headlights and slightly evolved compared to the 1973 Series II, with new rubber bumpers and the car interior redesigned by Pininfarina. Reproduced in blue since January 2021.
