One year after the CX in the summer of 1975, Citroën introduced an extended version: the wheelbase, common with the station wagon, increased from 2.85 m to 3.10 m (112 to 122 in.), for a total length of 4.92 m (194 in.). In 1977, the CX Prestige was equipped with a raised roof, reproduced here. The diesel version was called Limousine from 1979.
