Description
Unveiled on photos in December 1964 and shown to the public in March 1965 at the Geneva Motor Show, the Renault 16 was between a four-door saloon and an estate, with its two-box silhouette, and especially its hatchback, which was, at the time, an unusual fifth door, even though the Renault 4 had already had one since 1961. Here Maxichamps reproduces a 1965 R16.
