Käfer in Germany, Beetle in the United States, Coccinelle in France, the world’s top-selling car in automobile history had a nickname in almost every country. But it never had any official name! This American version wears the colours of Coca-Cola. Motor City says it is a 1966 model year, but it was actually produced after August 1967, because the model car has vertical headlights.
