From 1908 to 1927, 15 million units of the Ford T were produced, a record that was not beaten until 1972 by the VW Beetle. This car was also successful in racing, as evidenced by this version driven by the pilot Arthur Edward George who won at Brooklands in 1912. The brass body, which gives it its nickname, will be forgotten, then rediscovered in the years 1980.
