Alfa Romeo used the name 6C for the first time in 1925. Its first engine capacity was 1.5-litre, progressively increased to 1.75-litre, 1.9-litre, 2.3-litre and finally 2,443cc on the 6C 2500. The one we have here, one of the three models bodied by Carrozzeria Touring, took part in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June 1939, but did not finish the race.
