Alfa Romeo Giulietta red (Minichamps) 1:87

Released in 2010 and produced until 2020, this Alfa Romeo is the third one in history to use the name Giulietta, after the first generation from 1952 to 1962 and the second from 1977 to 1985. This third version was about to be called Milano but the Milan production plant was to be moved at that time. And the workers considered that the idea was quite unwelcome!

Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio red (Minichamps) 1:87

Launched in 2015, this Alfa Romeo reuses the name Giulia, already given to a small character sedan between 1962 and 1977. The rear-wheel drive Giulia shares its platform with the Stelvio SUV. Here we have the very high-performance Quadrifoglio version, equipped with a 510 hp twinturbo V6. Instead of offering a 1:43 scale model, Minichamps preferred the 1:87 HO scale.

Alfa Romeo 1600 Junior Z red (Maxichamps) 1:43

In 1969, Alfa Romeo launched a version of the small coupe Junior nicely rebodied by Zagato. First equipped with a 1.3-liter, the Z changed for a 1.6 (109 hp) in November 1972 and benefitted from some aesthetic changes, including the rear which was lengthened (the overall length increased from 3.90 m/154 in. to 4 m/157 in.).

Alfa Romeo 1900 Primavera Boano (Matrix) 1:43

Alfa Romeo 1900 Primavera Boano white & red (Matrix) 1:43

Thanks to the 1900, launched in 1950, Alfa Romeo emerged from craftsmanship. Most of the 19,000 cars produced until 1959 were four-door sedans. The Sprint versions, sleeker, represented a little less than 10% of the total amount of sales. Only 300 units of this much rarer two-door Primavera version, designed by Boano, which bought Ghia in 1944, were manufactured between 1955 and 1957.

Alfa Romeo first used the name 6C in 1925, first associated with a 1.5-litre. This displacement was gradually increased to finally reach 2,443 cc in 1938, on the 6C 2500. This 1950 coupe was designed by Ghia. Four models were built, three on an Alfa chassis and a fourth one on a specific tubular chassis. The latter is reproduced here, with its brown colour.

Alfa Romeo 147 facelift grey (Maxichamps) 1:43

After the spectacular 156 launched at the end of 1997, Alfa Romeo continued to rejuvenate its image with the 147, launched in late 2000. Four years later, the car was facelifted, as we can easily see it on this 1:43 miniature of the three-door version: slender and sleek headlights (flat base) and new bumpers.
