At the Geneva Motor Show in March 1966, the Lamborghini Miura, designed by the young Marcello Gandini (27 years old), was the undisputed star. But the Bertone stand also exhibited another of his models, somewhat forgotten over time: this more classic coupe, based on a Jaguar S-Type. Two cars, which still exist, were made.

The 250 GT berlinetta, a short-chassis 250 GT, debuted in Paris in 1959. Most of the cars produced were factory-bodied, but a few of them were designed by coachbuilders. This is the case of this coupe (chassis 1739 GT) made at Bertone and designed by Giugiaro (who was then 21 years old), at the request of a customer. This car was repainted several times.

The famous 250 GT berlinetta, a 250 GT based on a short wheelbase, debuted at the 1959 Paris Motor Show. Ferrari built most of the small amount of cars produced with an in-house bodywork, but other coachbuilders bodied some of them. This is the case of this unique coupe (chassis 3269 GT), unveiled in 1962 at Geneva by Bertone and designed by the young Giugiaro (who was 23 years old).

This car is a myth. Unveiled in 1971, sold in small series from 1973 (only 500 units were produced), the Stratos, whose lines were imagined by the master of design Marcello Gandini, at Bertone, was both a masterful pencil stroke, and a fantastic sports car. Among achievements, the Stratos won the 1974, 1975 and 1976 World Rally Championships.

This Aston Martin bodied by Bertone was unveiled in 2004. Then it was updated at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2013, alongside the Jet 2 + 2 version. The silver paint was then replaced by a gold colour and the interior was retouched. The Jet 2, based on a Vanquish, pays tribute to the eponymous model of 1961, even though their designs have nothing in common.

This concept car was designed in 1980 by Marc Deschamps, Marcello Gandini's successor at Bertone. He continued the same spirit through taut lines, both complex and refined. The base is a Lamborghini Silhouette and the V8 is rear-mounted. Only one unit of the Athon was made, and was one of the concepts sold by Bertone in 2011 to financially temporarily survive.
