The standalone DS Automobiles marque was launched in 2014. After rebadging Citroëns, this brand of the PSA group developed its own models: in Europe, the DS7 Crossback in 2017 and the DS3 Crossback in 2019. Produced in China, the DS9 launched in 2020 is DS Automobiles' first step into the premium mid size sedan segment. Here, we have the E-Tense plug-in hybrid version.

Not intended for series production, this 5 meter/197 in -long crossover, which receives 23-inch wheels and goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, is powered by a 680 hp electric motor.

But this model had to wait until the 2015 facelift to take the visual identity of the new brand. In September 2015, the DS4 received the same front grille than the DS5, restyled in the previous spring. In White Pearl since June 2016.

That year was a transition for this model, since you can still see the double chevron logo on the front grille, but not the Citroën monogram on the hatchback. Therefore, this Norev is still a Citroën.
