Lincoln Capri hardtop coupe 1954 black (GLM) 1:43

Before Ford took it over in Europe for the 1961 Consul and especially for the famous 1969 coupe, the name Capri was first used in 1952 by the premium division of Ford Group, Lincoln. Here we have a 1954 model year of the first-gen Capri (there were three in total) sold until 1959. The front part remains rather round, but the lines begin to stretch a bit.

Lincoln Continental Mark V blue (MCG) 1:18

As its name suggests, here we have a 1977 fifth-generation Continental, only available in coupe. The model represented over 40% of Lincoln’s sales at the time. The United States were still in the era of excess: this Lincoln was 5.85 meter/230 in.-long, and its engine was a 6.6-litre V8. But the power output was only 168 hp!
