Mercedes 240D W123 green (IXO) 1:43
This Mercedes, introduced in 1975 and sold from January 1976, is a historic best-seller: 2.7 million units were produced until 1985, about 90% of which were four-door sedans, like the one we have here. At the time, this "W123" 240 D version was equipped with a diesel 2.4-litre 4-cylinder engine delivering the “breathtaking” power of 65 hp.

In early 1991, the top-of-the-range 500 E version of the Mercedes-Benz W124, the successor to the W123 at the end of 1984, received a naturally-aspirated 5-litre V8. Developed with Porsche, this "super" large family car borrows its engine from the 500 SL roadster and delivers 326 hp.

Mercedes 190 SL roadster 1955 white (Maxichamps) 1:43
Produced between May 1955 and February 1963, the 190 SL was actually unveiled at the 1954 New York Auto Show. Mercedes intended to offer its customers a less exclusive and therefore more accessible model than the 300 SL, while retaining the overall design. The objective was achieved with this convertible that became the same icon than model that inspired it.
