Dodge Charger Daytona 1969 green (IXO) 1:43

To improve its results in NASCAR at the late 1960s, where aerodynamics is essential to reach the highest speed, Dodge modified the Charger. This coupe, released in 1966 and restyled in 1968, received a giant rear spoiler and a “spatula-like” sloped nose to reduce wind resistance as much as possible. The Daytona broke myriad NASCAR records…. 503 cars were built.

Among them, this convertible (here, the Turbo version dated 1991), unveiled in 1983 and produced from 1986 in Finland at Valmet. It is a variant of the 900, launched in 1978 and based on the Saab 99.

Jaguar XJ8 “X308” blue (IXO) 1:43

The beautiful XJ was first released in 1969. After the Series II and a Series III, in 1986, the X40 generation receives rectangular headlights, often controversial. Round headlights came back on the 1994 X300. IXO reproduces an X308 launched in 1997, whose V8 replaces the original 6 and 12-cylinder engines and is renamed XJ8. This is the final XJ version, before the new 2003 generation.

Opel Corsa B 1993 3-door blue (IXO) 1:43

In late 1982, Opel successfully discovered the small car market with the Corsa. The career of the first generation lasted more than 10 years before the launch of this second Corsa in 1993. The 3-door version was immediately available, reproduced here in the low-end trim level called City, equipped with a 1.4i engine, as well as the 5-door. The rear part of the body substantially differs.

Mercedes 240D W123 green (IXO) 1:43

This Mercedes, introduced in 1975 and sold from January 1976, is a historic best-seller: 2.7 million units were produced until 1985, about 90% of which were four-door sedans, like the one we have here. At the time, this "W123" 240 D version was equipped with a diesel 2.4-litre 4-cylinder engine delivering the “breathtaking” power of 65 hp.
