Alfa Romeo Giulietta red (Minichamps) 1:87

Released in 2010 and produced until 2020, this Alfa Romeo is the third one in history to use the name Giulietta, after the first generation from 1952 to 1962 and the second from 1977 to 1985. This third version was about to be called Milano but the Milan production plant was to be moved at that time. And the workers considered that the idea was quite unwelcome!

Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio red (Minichamps) 1:87

Launched in 2015, this Alfa Romeo reuses the name Giulia, already given to a small character sedan between 1962 and 1977. The rear-wheel drive Giulia shares its platform with the Stelvio SUV. Here we have the very high-performance Quadrifoglio version, equipped with a 510 hp twinturbo V6. Instead of offering a 1:43 scale model, Minichamps preferred the 1:87 HO scale.

Audi RS Q3 Sportback blue (Minichamps) 1:87

The second-generation Q3 was launched in the second half of 2018. A year later, a Sportback version was released, with a more dynamic silhouette and a lower roofline. Like the "standard" Q3, the Sportback is available in RS version, with a 2.5-litre 5-cylinder engine delivering 400 hp. That is 90 hp more than the first-gen 2013 RS Q3.

Launched in 2004, the 911 Type 997 was restyled in summer 2008. The cosmetic changes included slightly different bumpers. The GT3 version reproduced here was a little bit more powerful, like the rest of the range. The flat-6 was increased from 3.6 litres to 3.8 litres, and the power from 415 to 435 hp. This beautiful Porsche is, of course, a rear wheel-drive.

The 911 (991) was released at the end of 2011. But the GT3 waited until March 2013 to be released in Geneva. Worthily celebrating the 50th anniversary of the 911, the GT3 is equipped with a direct injection engine, a PDK double-clutch gearbox, a high-traction rear-wheel drive and develops 40 hp more than its predecessor (475 hp).

Porsche 911 Speedster 2019 (991) red (Minichamps) 1:43

Introduced at the New York Auto Show in spring 2019, this Speedster was the last variant of the Porsche 991, while the next generation, the 992, was already available. This 502 hp Speedster is lighter than the previous versions, thanks to its 2-seat cabin. To celebrate its 70th anniversary, Porsche only produced 1,948 cars, in homage to the release date of the first 356.

With the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 (the famous Daytona), the Ghibli is the archetype of the super GT of the second half of the 1960s. Its magnificent line, with its endless bonnet housing a 4.7-litre V8, is due to the young Giorgetto Giugiaro, working for Ghia at the time. Just over 1,100 units of the 1966 Ghibli were produced. Two years later, Maserati released a convertible variant.
