Audi introduced the A4-based A5 in 2007, first in coupe, then in convertible and finally in four-door hatchback sedan (Sportback). The second-generation A5 was launched in 2016 and the high-performance S5, reproduced here, was immediately added to the range. This version received a 3-litre turbo V6 that developed 350 hp, replaced, in Europe, by a diesel engine in 2019.

The first-generation A5 made its debut in 2007. This family of models was based on the A4. The coupe was launched first, followed by a convertible, and finally in a “four-door coupe-like” Sportback. Audi released the second generation in summer 2016 in coupe, then at the end of the same year in convertible. This 354 hp high-performance S5 was unveiled in 2017.
