Description
Giugiaro founded Ital Design, but first worked at Bertone and Ghia and then worked with Volkswagen through Karmann. In Frankfurt in September 1973, he introduced the Asso di Picche (Ace of Spades), a concept based on a Audi 80, whose design is close to the coming Scirocco coupe. Giugiaro also designed the Golf and allowed VW to rejuvenate its image after selling the Beetle during decades.
