In the 1970s, Bentley had to be content to sell Rolls-Royces, only changing the original grille with its own one, more rounded. The Corniche even used the same name than the Rolls-Royce it was based on. Nowadays, these models are as popular as they were non-coveted at the time. In 1984, the Corniche coupe was discontinued, but the convertible, renamed Continental, remained available.
