Description
Released in Turin in 1953, the small Isetta (the Italian diminutive form for Iso) with its front door that hinged outwards, was also manufactured from 1955 in Germany under license by BMW. Its career had already ended in Italy… Called “bubble car”, “rolling egg” (in Germany) or “yogurt cup” in France (where Velam also built it), the Isetta, here with a inflatable boat, was produced until 1962.
