Description
This concept car with gullwing doors was based on a Thunderbird, inspired by the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL. Unveiled at the 1962 Chicago Motor Show, it was first painted red, then blue. This 406 ci (or 6.7-litre) V8 Cougar can be seen in the film “Under the yum yum tree” with Jack Lemmon, released in 1963.
