Description
This Mercedes, introduced in 1975 and sold from January 1976, is a historic best-seller: 2.7 million units were produced until 1985, about 90% of which were four-door sedans, like the one we have here. At the time, this “W123” 240 D version was equipped with a diesel 2.4-litre 4-cylinder engine delivering the “breathtaking” power of 65 hp.
