Virgil Exner is mainly known for his work in Chrysler’s styling group, from the late 1940s to 1961. In 1963, he was at the origin of the resurrection plan of four US car brands. The Stutz project finally became a reality, while the Mercer one (a brand created in 1909 and disappeared in 1925) was only entitled to a prototype in scale 1. This unusual concept car was based on a Shelby Cobra.
