Description
The 404 sedan debuted in March 1961. The convertible was unveiled the following autumn. Contrary to what happened to the 403, the 404 cabriolet had a specific body, designed and produced at the Pininfarina plant. It was the first Peugeot to wear the badge of the Italian coachbuilder. A hardtop was available as an option from 1962.
