Description
Launched in 1988 in Japan, where it was called (and is still called, three generations later) Escudo, this small 4×4 is known in Europe as the Vitara. The semi-folding roof 3-door was released first, as shown on this NEO reproduction dated 1995. In some countries, it was first sold under the brand Santana and was imported from Spain.
