Description
The risk was real when Volkswagen replaced the Beetle with the Golf in 1974: the rounded-shaped rear-engined best-selling car in history gave way to a front wheel-drive compact car with sharp corners and flat lines, designed by Giugiaro. Needless to say that the risk was worth taking! Here we have the first 5-door version.
