Description
The German coachbuilder Friedrich Rometsch (established in 1924) is known (by insiders!) for this beautiful car based on a VW Beetle. Introduced in 1957 and available in coupe or convertible, the Romstesch Lawrence was produced until 1961. Only 85 units were ever made. Because of its handmade aluminium body, it was too expensive compared to the Karmann-Ghia.
