Chevrolet used the name Bel Air for the first time in 1950. It was initially a trim level of the Styleline DeLuxe, but it became a model of its own from 1953. As early as 1955, Chevrolet offered an optional V8 alongside the original 6-cylinder. Here we have a 2nd-generation Bel Air. This final 1957 model year received more stretched rear fenders and a grille with more chrome.
