One year after the CX in autumn 1974, Citroën launched the Prestige variant, based on a 25 cm/10 in-longer wheelbase shared with the estate, released at the same time. The CX was deeply restyled in 1985 and so was the Prestige, reproduced here, which was then equipped with the most efficient engine in the range, borrowed from the GTI Turbo 2: a 168 hp supercharged 2.5-litre 4-cylinder.
