Inspired by the Citroën Baby Brousse released in Ivory Coast in 1963, the 1974 Pony is a Greek project carried out with the local dealer Namco. For a while, from 1977, an advantageous taxation regime benefited to the Pony. This metal-bodied model with an engine borrowed from the Dyane was part of Citroën’s FAF project (a French acronomy for Easy to Manufacture, Easy to Finance).
This diecast model in 1:43 scale was first available in the press. Reproduced by IXO (the name of the manufacturer is not mentioned), it is sold in a simple box.
