This Italian company, founded in 1900 by Cesare Isotta and two Fraschini brothers, equalled the most prestigious brands, such as Duesenberg, Rolls-Royce or Bugatti. The Tipo 8A was released in 1924 with a 160 hp 8-cylinder 7.4-litre engine. This 1930 model year is bodied by the Milan-based coachbuilder Castagna, created in 1849 and defunct in 1954, before reviving in the early 2000s.
