Description
Right after launching the Manta coupe in 1970, Opel works on a 2nd generation. Several prototypes are made, such as this red version in 1972, which follows a grey concept car, rather similar but without an interior. This model looks like the 1971 Buick Riviera and even the Studebaker Avanti, but Raymond Loewy did not intervene here! However, the Manta “b” released in 1975 was different.
