Description
Ferdinand Porsche designed the VW Beetle. Then he created his own brand under his name, imagining a sports car based on the Beetle. That is how the lovely 356 was launched in 1948. This first generation, still receives a single rear vent grille but is already equipped with a one-piece split windshield (which will disappear at the end of 1952).
