In 1975, Porsche launched the 924 to offer a second model, in addition to the 911. Its engine, borrowed from Audi, originally developed 125 hp. A turbo version was released in 1979. Then, in 1985, a 2.5-litre (150 hp) replaced the 2-litre. This 1984 model year, therefore delivering 125 hp, received some aesthetic changes, including the same small spoiler as the turbo version.
