This large but only 5-seat station wagon was released in Brazil in autumn 1964. It succeeded the Amazon and was also based on a pick-up truck borrowed from Chevrolet’s US range. This 1971 model year was 5.16 m/203 in-long and equipped with a 144 hp SAE 4.3-litre 6-cylinder. The Veraneio, which actually received this name only five years after its release, was first known as the C1416.
This diecast model in 1:43 scale was first available in the press in certain countries. Its box here is very simple (photo).
