Description
Marcello Gandini, hired by Bertone to design the Lamborghini Miura in 1965, is also the author of the Espada released in 1968, inspired by the 1967 Marzal concept. Before finishing the Espada, Gandini “tested” his design with this Pirana, a unique protoype made at the initiative of the Daily Telegraph. Based on an E-Type and unveiled in grey, it was later repainted in green.
