Unveiled at the 1954 New York Auto Show, produced until 1957, the 300 SL is an icon of automobile history. This model was famous for its gullwing doors and its great direct-injection engine, a premiere on a “mass-produced” car. Most of the 1,400 units were delivered to the United States. IXO and Whitebox have already reproduced the 300 SL, but the doors of this Schuco version can open.
