Launched in March 1939, the Kapitän was the last model that Opel launched before WWII, since production stopped in autumn 1940. Afterwards, however, 25,371 units of this top-of-the-range model were produced. Among them, only 248 two-seater cabriolets, assembled by two independent coachbuilders, Gläser and Hebmüller (here). Also reproduced in dark blue by Matrix.
