Unveiled in March 1965 at Geneva, the Renault 16 was between a four-door saloon and an estate, with its two-box silhouette, and especially its hatchback, which was, at the time, an unusual fifth door, even though the Renault 4 had already had one since 1961. According to IXO, this R16 is a TS version. But this trim level was released in late 1967, so it should have additional headlights.
