Käfer in Germany, Beetle in the US, Coccinelle in France, the world’s top-selling car in automobile history (21 million units) had a nickname in almost every country. But it never had any official name! The version we have here is not specified, but is seems to be a 1971 1302, with four air vents above the engine hood, instead of two initially.
This diecast model in 1:43 scale was first available in the press. Reproduced by IXO (the name of the manufacturer is not mentioned), it is sold in a simple box.
