Here we have a 1989 model year of the 2nd-gen CR-X, initially released in September 1987 in Japan. The design of this coupé, based on a Civic, was smoother, with no more angles, but the spirit of this small sportscar remained intact. It was even reinforced in 1990, with the new VTEC engine with variable-timing system that boosted the 1.6-litre from 130 to 150 hp and made the CR-X a must.
